These days there are so many advertised opportunities to make a little extra money outside of your normal 9-5. There are surveys galore, food deliveries, secret-shoppers, product-testers and the list goes on 📃...
But I have found that not all of these opportunities yield a worthwhile reward, and it can become a headache to filter through which offers will legitimately pay out what they are promising.
So, I've done some testing for you, and have found that the following opportunities are worth getting involved in if you have a few mins here and there. They yield money rewards that can help with groceries, pay for a date night, or buy a loved one a gift. I myself have made $527💰 so far this year by just taking a few moments each month to participate in opportunities like the ones listed below:
1. OhmConnect
Is Southern California Edison your electricity provider? Then you are in for a treat. OhmConnect provides you with opportunities each month to lower your electricity usage for just an hour at a time in exchange for points that can be cashed in for giftcards or cash transferred to your PayPal account. Signing up is simple, plus you'll get $10 upon sign up!

2. Fetch
Get points for scanning receipts from your Grocery Store visit. Some apps require you to purchase certain items in order to earn points, and require hands on involvement. But with Fetch, I go to the grocery store, take a pic of my receipt and that's it, points earned! If you happen to purchase one of the specialty items shown on the app that day, you'll get more points. These points can be traded in for giftcards or entries to win a $1,000 visa giftcard. 3. G-2 Crowd
Earn $10 per software review (5 mins), take up to 5 reviews per person - $50! Here's a side note, after providing quality reviews and receiving my compensation, another company associated with G-2 crowd began to offer me opportunities to make more money. Sometimes, you just have to start and more doors open!
4. Intelizoom
Test website and software prototypes, provide feedback about your experience, get rewarded, that's it! You can Earn $5 - $8 per survey you qualify for.
1. Local Expos
What's your hobby? There's an expo for that!
Expos make for great outings, are an easy way to pick up free things, and not to mention win some great stuff. When ever I attend an expo, I make sure to participate in the giveaways and raffles. Of course, winning is never guaranteed, but then again I've never walked away from an expo empty handed 🤷🏾♀️ ...Check out Eventbrite to see what expos are happening near you, grab a friend and go enjoy your freebies!
2. Test Drives
Check out your local car dealer's website to see if they have promotions to Test Drive vehicles for a gift card. At the beginning of the year, I stumbled upon an offer from Ford for a $50 Visa Gift card for test driving a car (and I didn't even have to drive the car, I walked in and they gave me the reward! 🙌🏾)
3. Good O'le Google Search
If you have some spare time, be creative and google money making opportunities doing the things you enjoy doing, they are definitely out there, it's just a matter of finding the ones that are a great fit for you and your schedule. PLUS - with the advance technology these days, the more you google search for opportunities, the more legit ones pop up in your Instagram feed, Facebook feed, or in your G-mail email... that's how I stumbled upon some of the aforementioned opportunities...
